Jimi Hendrix’s first two hits hitting the top of the billboard
in the U.K. was just the beginning. His next two albums “Axis: Bold as Love,
Electric Lady land, were his major hits and breakthrough into superstardom.
After his breakthrough he started to tour in the United States. Jimi Hendrix saw
himself more as a musician than superstar and would simply play his music during
his performances. Jimi Hendrix realized through a hostile reception his best
music comes from studios and clubs and opened up Electric Lady Studios in New
York.
